Chennarayana Durga is a hill station near Tumkur. It is good place for trekking and rock climbing. The height is of about 1,188 mts. If forts or treasures that have evaded history's books are the kind of thing that make you salivate, then Chennarayanadurga is where your next adventure lies. A mere hundred kilometers from the concrete of Bangalore city is the stolid granite of a hill fort that has borne witness to the rise and fall of several empires. Originally built by the lesser known Kings of Madhugiri, it was then passed into the hands of the shrewd Marathas.

Tentative Schedule:

06:30 AM - Pick up from BMC, Indiranagar Nagar
06:45 AM - Pickup from New Shanti Sagar Hotel, Domlur
07:00 AM - Pickup from Lifetyle, Magrath Road (Near Garuda Mall)
08:30 AM - Have breakfast on the way
10:00 AM - Reach Base camp
10:30 AM - Start Trekking
01:00 PM - Have lunch and Start the descent
03:30 PM - Reach base camp
04:00 PM - Start back to Bangalore
